Whispers

In a forest's purest silence,
there' s a mother in disguise.
Gently stroking leaves and branches,
quietly singing lullabies.

She recounts historic battles,
in an untamed storm at seas,
speaks of countless hidden feelings,
in a gentle evening breeze.

I am certain that you know her
and I'm sure that she knows you.
Because things that she does not know,
things like that are very few.

There are many stories written,
though we cannot see the tint.
Listen closer, you can hear them
in the whispers of the wind.

Secrets, griefs,regrets and wishes,
here for you, this only hint:
Listen closer, you can hear them
in the whispers of the wind.

Let her cool yet soothing fingers,
caress you, your cheeks, your nose,
those who listen to her whispers,
will hear timeless knowledge those.

She does not express her beauty
for she doesn't care for fame.
In the case that you don't see it
there's your ignorance to blame.
